Mike lives in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife, Hillary, and their three kids: Simon, Ruth, and Aaron.

Family is at the center of everything he does. Hillary is part owner of Barton’s Flowers and Bake Shop, where she brings her creative eye to weddings and events. Together, they’re raising their kids to see and love people of all abilities, backgrounds, and walks of life.

Their son Simon, who has cerebral palsy, attends the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children. He brings joy, resilience, and perspective to their family every day. He loves cooking class, shopping trips, and cruising the yard in his adapted power-wheel Jeep.

For Mike, fatherhood has shaped the way he sees the world. It’s taught him to slow down, show up, and find beauty in the everyday moments that matter most.
